Update for Community Share Investors on Benefits and Rewards

Dear Investor

We are following up on our emails of the 4thNovember and 4th December to provide a further update on where we are with the Yellow Army Community Share Issue Rewards and Benefits Implementation.

1st team 3rd shirt

As we are sure you will be aware, the 3rd shirt launch was completed successfully earlier this month and the feedback we have received has been very positive. Further details are available here if you have missed the launch: https://torquayunited.com/the-third-shirt-is-here/

Investor Member Board

The Investor Member Board is on order, and we hope to have this with us shortly where it will be erected at an agreed location inside Plainmoor. We will let you know when everything is in place.

Share certificate and pin badge

The share certificates have been printed and are now ready to distribute to members. The pin badges are on order, but the receipt of these has been delayed by the supplier due to issues at their end, but we hope to have these by the 1st week in January. As indicated previously, once available, we will be aiming to minimise the cost of postage by asking investors to collect both the share certificate and pin badge from Plainmoor where possible either at the Meet the Manager event (see below) or at alternative dates. Further details are to follow.

Meet the Manager

We were hoping to hold this event on the 7th January, but due to unforeseen circumstances it is not possible for this to now happen. We are working with the club to agree another date which hopefully will be in the near future. The event will be held in Boots and Laces of an evening (likely to be around 7 – 7.30) and investors will be invited to come along and grab a free pasty before having the opportunity to hear from Paul Wotton and hopefully Neil Warnock. Once again, we will be back in touch as soon as a date has been finalised for this. As we are sure you can appreciate, there will be a limit on numbers (based on the size of Boots and Laces) and hence the event will be limited to investors only and we will be asking for confirmation of attendance beforehand.

Director for the Day (Platinum Investors only)

This experience has been in place for a number of home games now and once again, the feedback has been very good. Investors are being “drawn out of a hat” for each match and are being contacted by Bob Cole from TUST to confirm they are able to attend the game in question. The selected investor (and companion) will enjoy a two-course meal in The Cove, the opportunity to socialise in the Neil Warnock suite and seats in the directors’ box (if required).

Exclusive Investor Reception (Platinum Investors only)

This is likely to be in February or March next year and a date will be confirmed to you in due course.

Torquay United Annual Golf day & BBQ (Platinum Investors only)

This will be at a date to be agreed in the summer of 2025.

Venue Hire Discount (Platinum Investors only)

Finally, as indicated previously, we have agreed with the club that the venue hire discount rate for Platinum Investors will be 50%.  Enquiries about this should be made directly to the Club.
